Practical Application of Technology

GCC Technologies provides a wide range of information technology (IT) and systems engineering services that help our customers effectively apply technology to meet mission needs. Our deep understanding of our customers, combined with our expertise in a wide range of technologies, enables us to prioritize requirements, assess alternatives and recommend technology solutions that are right for today yet ready for tomorrow.

We are able to identify inefficiencies and look for innovative ways to leverage technology to streamline processes, improve productivity and reduce costs. At the core of our IT/engineering services is our proficiency in business process reengineering (BPR). We apply BPR techniques to ensure that our customers are getting the most out of their IT investments. From requirements analyses to technology assessments of legacy or enterprise systems to feasibility studies and risk assessments, our subject matter experts are able to recommend alternatives for improving quality, accuracy and efficiency at a lower cost.

GCC also has extensive experience providing technical documentation as well as a host of other IT services, including system and software development, test and evaluation, and critical infrastructure protection support.

We helped the Office of Federal Student Aid take 14 websites and condense them into a single portal that dramatically improved usability without sacrificing capabilities.

Speeding the application process for veteran-owned businesses

GCC Technologies developed a case management and issue-tracking platform that has dramatically improved the experience of veteran-owned small businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses seeking to do business with the Veteran’s Administration. The software-as-a-service platform logs application intake and tracks cases from inception through closure. By adapting case-processing business rules, GCC has helped drive changes that increase efficiencies and dramatically reduce application processing time.
